| Day 1 |
| Our experienced guides will meet with you at the Kotoka International airport Accra and transfer you to your hotel. After checking you in your cultural guides offer you Akwaaba (welcome) and brief you on all aspects of your trip. |

| Day 2 |
After a well deserved rest and breakfast, we embark on the first phase of what promises to be an adventurous, educative and fun - filled tour. We visit the world famous coffin makers of Nungua Accra, before visiting a cocoa processing factory in Tema where we get our hands on the world's finest chocolate. A tour of the Akosombo dam on the second largest man made lake in the world before transferring to Ho capital of the Volta region.

| Day 3 |
| A morning trek to the top of Ghana's highest mountain Afadjato, visiting the stunning Wli fall's West Africa's highest waterfall on our decent for a refreshing dip. After lunch we experience traditional Ewe drumming and dance before visiting the sacred monkeys of Tafi Atome set in a beautiful location. |

| Day 4 |
We set off for Kumasi capital of the Ashanti region and home to the Asantehene King of the Ashantis. En route, we stop at the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine (C.S.R.P.M) at Mampong Akwapim. Here we are shown how traditional local herbs and remedies that the indigenous peoples of Ghana have been using for centuries are being used in modern day medicines. We arrive in Kumasi, check into our accommodation the remainder of the evening is free leisure time. |

| Day 5 |
| The morning is dedicated to spending time in the ancient craft villages found within touching distance of the city centre. We meet the local communities of Ntunso renowned for Adinkra and Adanwomase famous for Kente. After lunch we visit the Manhyia Palace Museum for an informative overview of Ashanti history. From here we continue to Lake Busomtwi for a couple of hours just whiling away the time on the banks of this 25km lake. |

| Day 6 |
| A morning visit to Kejetia market the largest outdoor market in West Africa, an excellent opportunity to bargain with the locals, our main aim will be to purchase ingredients for our afternoon traditional cookery lesson. We spend the afternoon with Mrs. Matilda Appiah and her daughter who will be giving us practical guidance in preparing the local dish/dishes of our choice the traditional way. |

| Day 7 |
| We say goodbye to Kumasi and head southwards, our port of call is Cape Coast in the Central Region. Ghana is the world's second largest exporter of gold, with this in mind we pass through Obuasi for a tour of Ghana's largest mine. A visit to Elmina and the Castle of St George, which is the oldest extant colonial building in sub Saharan Africa, before checking into our hotel for the evening. |

| Day 8 |
| A morning visit to the world famous Kakum Canopy walkway found in Kakum National Park, a beautiful tropical Guinea rainforest which supports over 40 mammal species and 300 species of birds. We visit a coco farm, palm nut plantation and traditional palm wine tapers before enjoying lunch at a restaurant built over a lake containing Nile Crocodiles. A tour of the fishing town of Elmina, before a relaxing afternoon and early evening at one of Ghana's most beautiful beaches, where we can enjoy a dip. |

| Day 9 |
| In the morning we visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a thought provoking journey through Ghana's tragic enslaved African trade era. Afterwards we set off for Accra and the Sankofa beach house we relax on our arrival before starting lessons in traditional African drumming and dance. In the evening we have a barbecue on the beach, where the musical festivities continue into the night before we retire after wonderful days activities. |

| Day 10 |
| Sadly your final day in Ghana, after breakfast and loading up, we spend a couple of hours walking along the beach or swimming before we depart for Accra city in the mid morning arriving in time for lunch in a local restaurant. Before transferring you to the airport we visit the Cultural centre which is Ghana's largest arts and craft market. |
