The Ashanti Charitable Trust is currently being established and will be dedicated to supporting long term sustainable community development and wildlife conservation initiatives. The projects supported by the Trust will be initially located at Bawena village and the surrounding communities in the Northern Region of Ghana. By establishing the Trust, all donations would be exempt from any taxes and will be used entirely to fund development and conservation projects. The Trust will also act as a vehicle for the funds we donate from Ashanti Gap Year Breaks, Ashanti Life Experiences, Ashanti School Exhibitions, Ashanti and Bawena Eco Tourism Projects, and Ashanti Standard Tours. All donations will be used directly for materials, maintenance and local labour relating to the project, none will be swallowed up in administration costs.
